Scenes and Characters from the Works of Charles Dickens Being Eight Hundred and Sixty-six Pictures Printed From the Original Wood Blocks Details

Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

Reviews

I love Dickens' works and I've read most of his books. Illustrations always enhanced what I was reading and we're as enjoyable to look at as it was to read the stories. This book brings the memories of those characters back to life in my mind. I have searched many times to find this type of book. This is most convenient preventive work I have found to date and to be able to enlarge it on my tablet.....As far as I can tell this book cannot be found in print edition and for the price of a coffee you cannot go wrong.
